What are adjectives? Adjectives are words that describe nouns. We use adjectives to tell what something looks, feels, smells, and sounds like. The same adjective is used with both singular and plural nouns.
- Singular noun: a happy boy
- Plural noun: happy boys
Adjectives after Be
An adjective can be found after "be." When two adjectives come after be, you have to put "and" between them.
