An airplane is even faster than a maglev train.
Planes can go as fast as 955 kilometers per hour.
That's much faster than most cars.
On the street, most cars usually drive at about 50 kilometers per hour.
But the fastest car in the world could go more than 1,200 kilometers per hour.
It was so fast that it broke the sound barrier!
