Workflow Expectations
Meetings
- Full or part time employees are expected to participate in daily meeting huddles of 10-20 minutes with their respective teams to connect and share daily planned tasks, wins and hurdles with the intent of assisting others and planning next steps. Weekly meetings with the team depending on the department are also necessary. Quarterly meetings, performance reviews or town halls will be announced and attendance will be expected.
Working Hours
- Full time employees are expected to work from 8am- 4pm with 1 hour lunch break (12pm -1pm flexible).
- Any needed accommodations are to be reviewed by your team leader and a request documented and approved.
- Vacation, sick leave, parental leave or work trips will be reviewed by your team leader and documented in Humi or shared work calendars.
Workflow
- First meeting is typically daily team huddle
- Check work emails for outstanding client needs or requests and you are to respond in a timely manner (even if it is a ‘received and looking into this for you message..”)
- Check helpdesk tickets (if required to do so) and respond as needed. VIP and high urgency first, other later on in the work day, or last check before ending the day.
- Plan meetings or tasks with bulk hours of your day.
- Set hour blocks- client meetings and interactions, planning preparation for meetings or presentations, documentation in CRM or email templates and cold calls and building nextworks. Additional afternoon blocks of time can be for additional meetings/ cold calls/ projects and review.
Shared Folders
In Google Drive you will have access to any needed or necessary shared files and folders for day to day presentations and resources. If you are unsure of which resources you need or have access to, please bring it up with your 1-1 meeting with leadership or your team mentor or peers.

Check it out then ask a trainer, peer, or mentor to walk you though it to practice and review.
Call to Action
Create a copy of a Smrt Google Document, Google Sheet, or Google Presentation and share it with your team lead or mentor for practice. Choose a Smrt presentation, exercise from the library (110 unit #1 in the menu tab click on the exercise and then File, make a copy and OK). Create a new title “NAME: Test/ Practice” and then click on Share and add the team members email address.
