Company Goals: Daily to Bhag (Big Hairy Audacious Goal)

Smrt team goals for our business and how you can be successful with developing them.

Financial Goals

    • Every department has financial obligations and goals, whether it is to stay under a monetary goal in IT/ Development or to hit a dollar value target in Sales. Financial goals are important and we all need to be motivated to reach, obtain, or stay within set ranges.
    • Financial Expectations/ outcomes for departments are to be reviewed by team leaders and may be in the form of reports (monthly).
    • Events or Requests must be pre approved by team leaders and documented/ verified by administration for scope, legal, and financial obligation and ROI. Please review and follow the procedure for Requests found here and the first steps information and framework template here
    • Travel Expenses can be collected up to one week after returning back from a pre- approved trip and expenses will be reimbursed (or corporate card used to book at time of bookings) up to one month after return. Expenses will need proof of expense receipts (images and or hard copies) and documented in the following format provided from Google templates here. (File, make a Copy, OK and complete the form as needed and Share with your team leader.)
    • Team Expenses will be covered and decided on and approved by team lead and company administration on an as needed basis. Team lunches, dinners or special events will be considered and distributed/ authorized by the team leader.
    • Client Rewards

Growth Goals

    • Each section of the company needs growth but not all growth happens at the same time or rate.Each year an evaluation of departments is done and the outcome will influence where we push for growth as a collective team. Of course, departments will always promote growth of product, sales and knowledge. 
    • The company’s ultimate Bhag 10 year goal is for 10, 000,000 course registrations to be added by the year 2032!
    • Motivation is the key to growth in any industry and it is expected for team members to bring their highest level experience, expertise, and energy to interactions that add growth to the company.

Customer Goals

    • Our partnership with clients is based on solving their problems and easing their frustrations as much as we can within our means. We want to build customers up to become more successful in their industry. Each client has vastly different needs based on their internal goals and we need to be responsive to understanding them and bridging the gaps in their needs.
    • We need to be proactive in promoting growth within client’s portfolios with our products and services. Showcasing our courses (smrt adult/ youth/kids/children and other courses), projects (placements/ courses/ assessment, events, PD), and connections (pathways and partnerships).
    • Have ongoing conversations with your clients on their short and long term goals and struggles so as a team we can create solution pathways for them to grow with us.

Employee Development Goals

    • At Smrt it is our goal that you gain expertise with experience and from mentors and peers within the teams and within the industry. Follow the team processes and grow and adapt with specific skills that will help you in your employment goals. We strive for successful individuals to support and encourage growth in others and themselves. Help your teams through team participation and brainstorming and participate in feedback and evaluation processes with truth and respect.

Social Goals

    • Most if not all employees will be given a work email. With this email it is expected that you engage with the social media presence of the team. Send images/ event  client titles to post client visits, projects, events or send to the IT team for posting to the Smrt social channels.
    • Use shareable posts from IT to connect to clients in social where they engage most and assist the team to stay as relevant as possible in unique ways.
