For your Unit 2 writing assignment, you are going to write a paragraph describing your dream business. Be sure to follow the basic paragraph structure that you learned in Unit 1.
Paragraph Structure
Topic Sentence
- This sentence has the main idea of the paragraph. In this paragraph, the main idea should be what your dream business is.
Supporting Sentences
- Explain your main point(s) from the topic sentence with support and examples. For example, are you describing different actions of drivers, the consequences of these actions and how it makes you feel.
- Use as much description as possible with adjectives, adverbs and prepositional phrases.
- Be careful with simple sentences.
Concluding Sentence
- A final sentence expressing how you feel about the subject.
