There are many risks involved in extreme sports. Broken bones can result from falling off a mountain bike or missing the ramp in parkour.

Concussions are one type of injury that may result from hitting your head. Upon impact, your brain slams against the inside of your skull, which can result in headaches and amnesia.

Paralysis is a serious injury that can result from damage to the spinal cord. Your spinal cord conducts information to and from your limbs to the brain, so if it is damaged you may not be able to move parts of your body.

Finally, deaths have occurred from various different types of extreme sports. In your opinion, do you think the risks of these sports are worth the thrills that they supposedly provide?
