  2. The Oxford Learner’s Dictionary defines an icon as “a famous person or thing that people admire and see as a symbol of a particular idea, way of life, etc.” Who are some icons from your culture’s history? What made them icons?
  3. What is a social problem? Can you think of any social problems happening in your country or around the world?
  4. Can regular people help solve social problems? How?
  5. What are civil rights? Do some research and give some examples.
