All areas on planet Earth have a climate. Climate is the mixture of the weather and tempertaure an area gets over time. You can use the words below to talk about climate, weather and temperature.

| warm | A warm place has a temperature that is a little high. |
| cool | A cool place has a temperature that is a little low. |
| wet | A wet place gets a lot of rain. |
| dry | Dry places get little or no rain. |
| windy | If a place is windy it gets a lot of wind. |
| rainy | A rainy place gets a lot of rain. |
| sunny | If a place is sunny it gets a lot of sun. |
| cloudy | In cloudy places the sun is covered by clouds a lot of the time. |
