Students work in groups of 3-4 and open the corresponding pages.

On each page, students are given questions such as "What makes you...?"

One at a time, students present these questions to their group and share their answers. Students should focus on using subject gerunds in their answers related to aviation:

What makes you happy?

Flying with my friends and family makes me happy.

  1. What makes you want to fly (change types of aircraft / cities / landing surfaces/remote locations, etc.)?
  2. What makes you interested in flying?
  3. What makes you excited about aircraft?
  1. What makes you bored when flying?
  2. What makes you interested in helicopters?
  3. What worries you about the concept of flying?
  1. What makes you nervous about flying?
  2. What frightens you about gliders?
  3. What excites you about aerobatic aircraft?
  1. What gives you a headache when flying?
  2. What helps you sleep during a long flight?
  3. What embarrasses you about your knowledge of aviation?
