Verb + Infinitive
Another verb pattern in English is to + the base form of a verb. This is called the infinitive.
She has to go flying soon.
I don't need to talk to the Beech Queen Air right now.

The verbs below are often used with infinitives:

- I promise to call entering downwind.
- He doesn't expect to have enough fuel for his alternate airport.
