Part One

Students work with a partner and decide which person is going to be Student One, and who is going to be Student Two. For each of the situations listed below, the pair of students should read the information and then create an improvised dialogue about the situation. When finished, students are to go on to the next situation.

This is a speaking activity and should not require any writing or preparation by the students.

Student One and Student Two are having a disagreement about what they think is a better aircraft. Student One thinks Cessna is better. Student Two thinks Beechcraft is better.

Student One is a famous pilot walking on the street. Student Two is a really big fan. Student Two should try to talk to Student One and ask him or her many questions. Student Two doesn't really want to talk to Student One but is trying to be nice.

Student One doesn't understand the rules aviation. Student Two should teach him or her the rules. Student One should ask lots of questions.

Student One loves flying. Student Two is Student One's mother or father. Student Two thinks Student One should spend less time flying and more time working. Student One doesn't like working.


Part Two

Do the activity again, but this time, work with a different partner.
