Part One

Students work with a partner and decide which person is going to be Student One, and who is going to Student Two. For each of the situations listed below, the pair of students should read the information and then create an improvised dialogue about the situation. When finished, students are to go on to the next situation.

This is a speaking activity and should not require any writing or preparation by the students.

Student One and Student Two are International travelers . Student One is angry at Student Two because he or she thinks Student Two doesn't do enough to get through airport security quickly.

Student One is a airport manager looking for additional space to park light aircraft. Student Two is a owner of the local flight school with new aircraft available for rent and needs additional parking. Have a telephone conversation. Student One should ask for information about the number of aircraft requiring parking and is grass acceptable.

Student One is an Airport Manager and Two lives on the airport flight path. Student Two is angry at Student One because there was a loud low flying aircraft passing over his house at 3 AM in the morning last night.

Student One has a airport hangar but is looking for a partner for the aircraft rental buisness. Student Two has replied to an ad Student One made on a aviation website. You are meeting for the first time at a coffee shop. Ask each other questions to see if you could own an aircraft rental business together.


Part Two

Do the activity again, but this time, work with a different partner.
