Part One: Warm Up

• What kind of airport did you learn to fly at? Was it a local airport or international? Was it big or small?
• Did you have your own aircraft when you learned to fly?
• Was your airport ramp crowded with aircraft when you started to fly?
• With your partner or group, make sure you understand the following words:
  • lack
    • "This Cessna 152 lacks space."
  • fit
    • "Five people won't fit in the cabin."
  • deserve
    • "The dishonest student doesn't deserve to pass the flight test."
  • realize
    • "Do you realize it's 9 PM? We should go home. It's so late!"
