- read and guess the meaning of common texting abbreviations including thx, idk, lol, and btw;
- watch and demonstrate an understanding of the content of an interactive video explaining how to use texts in a professional situation;
- compare the use of emails and texts in your cultures with what is common in the US;
- watch a video and take notes about 14 idioms and expressions that mean “it’s easy” including it’s a piece of cake, it’s not rocket science, and I could do it with my eyes closed;
- reflect on your learning in a written/oral journal format.
