Stand up and ask and answer questions with all of your classmates to find out if the statements below are true for them. When a statement is true for your classmate, write their name next to the statement. Talk to different people until you have one person for each statement. Make sure you use auxiliary verbs correctly in your questions and short answers.

Example:

  • Sara (to Bianca): Have you always lived in the same house?
  • Bianca (to Sara): No, I haven’t. My family moved a lot when I was young.
  • Sara finds another partner
  • Sara (to Haru): Have you always lived in the same house?
  • Haru (to Sara): Yes, I have. My parents moved into our house after their wedding.
  • Sara writes Haru’s name next to “has always lived in the same house.”
