Watch these two people meeting for the first time. Notice how they smile, use eye contact, shake hands or wave, and introduce themselves. How close do they stand? 

Introduction 1

A: Hi, I’m Anastasiya Shevchenko, but you can call me Nastiya. 

B: Hi, Nastiya. I’m Lexie Smith. It’s great to meet you. 

A: It’s great to meet you, too. 

Introduction 2

A: Hi, I’m Anastasiya Shevchenko, but you can call me Nastiya. I’m a pharmacy technician. 

B: Hi, Nastiya. I’m Lexie Smith. I work in Geriatrics. I’m an RN.  It’s great to meet you.

A: It’s great to meet you, too.

Watch again and repeat the introductions as closely as you can with your own information. Try to match the movements and tone of voice.
