Adjectives
Adjectives are words that describe nouns:
The airplane is big.
The small Cessna 210 was turning final.
I flew the fast aircraft downwind at 3000 feet.
She flew a beautiful left hand circuit for Runway 12.
Adverbs
Adverbs can describe adjectives, verbs, or other adverbs. In Grammar 5-3, we will focus on adverbs that describe verbs:
He vectors aircraft beautifully.
He can transmit quickly.
I went to the control tower late last night.
Susan works the tower circuit professionally.
