- enhance listening skills by listening and repeating examples of polite requests from a video;
- pronounce and use polite requests such as Can you…, Could you.., Would you.., If it's okay with you..., etc. with appropriate intonation;
- compare the use of intonation and polite requests in your language(s) with English;
- make and respond positively and negatively to polite requests;
- demonstrate listening comprehension and a knowledge of basic writing conventions by completing dictations of several sentences;
- reflect on your learning in a written/oral journal format.
