Checking your understanding
Notice how it’s done. First, listen to the speaker’s main message:
Hi, Katerina. I have a couple of things that need to be done right away. Could I ask you… I think Room 119 has been transferred. Could you check and do that room if the transfer is complete? Then I need the waiting room on 9 done after that.
Look the speaker in the eyes and use one of these paraphrasing introductions and then ask a question to check that you have it right.
