- read, listen to, and demonstrate understanding of information about why Americans exaggerate;
- read, listen to, and demonstrate understanding of information about which other cultures use exaggeration and which use understatement;
- identify and use absolutely and very with strong and weak adjectives;
- reflect on your learning in a written/oral journal format.
