Students work in pairs. Assign a different link below for each pair of students. The links describe a type of trip / vacation for which the students need to plan using an English travel web site.

In planning their vacation, students should use one of the recommended sites below and fill out answers in the exercise. It is important students make sure to use the English version of the sites. Also, it is recommended each pair of students work together using only one computer so as to encourage discussion and teamwork.

Later, students can present their findings to another pair of students or to the class in the form of a presentation.

You want a relaxing one-week holiday, but you do not have a lot of money, so keep this in mind.

You are both very active people who love to fly. You want to do an aerobatic course somewhere and make a vacation out of it for one week.

You want to do a sightseeing tour over the Grand Canyon and the Painted Desert.

You want to go to New Zealand. One reason for this is you want to deliver a Cessna 320 and visit Hobbiton - a location appearing in The Hobbit and Lord Of The Rings films. This trip should last about ten days.

You have always wanted to fly cross-country to visit Disney World and Universal Studios. Plan a one week vacation full of fun and activities.

You would like to do a bus tour around Western Europe. This trip can take one or two months to complete. Try to visit as many countries as possible.

You want to go to England to watch the Red Bull Air Races on the River Thames in London. This trip can take about two weeks.

You want to go flying, hiking and camping in the Rocky Mountains in the summer months. The best place for this is Banff, Alberta, Canada. This trip should last about two weeks.

You want to go float flying in five or six countries in South America for a month.

You want to go bush flying and land on a glacier in Alaska in the spring.
