Objectives & Sequence: This lesson is intended to be used as a review of Grammar 10-3.
Students work in pairs and open the corresponding pages below. On each page, there is a table with two sides. On the left side are 12 sentences that students should read to their partners. On the right side of the table are subjects that students use to agree with what their partner said. Suggested answers are provided under each sentence so that students can monitor each other.
Example One:
- Student One (Left Side): When I was a child, gas was cheap.
- Student One: "When I was a child, gas was cheap."
- Student Two (Right Side): Food.
- Student Two: "So was food."
Example Two:
- Student One (Left Side): Hockey isn't very interesting.
- Student One: "Hockey isn't very interesting."
- Student Two (Right Side): Soccer.
- Student Two: "Neither is soccer."
