- watch and demonstrate an understanding of the content of an interactive video explaining precaution signs;
- read and demonstrate understanding of some common hospital precaution signs;
- complete a Venn Diagram comparing the requirements listed in each precaution sign;
- practice clear pronunciation of challenging sounds, specifically words containing /s/ and /?/ sounds;
- practice with tongue twisters to notice and focus on pronunciation;
- demonstrate listening comprehension and a knowledge of basic writing conventions by completing dictations of several tongue twisters;
- recognize and use a common prefix (i.e., en-/em);
- compare the use of affixes in your language with English;
- reflect on your learning in a written/oral journal format.
