- watch a video, answer questions about, and explain the difference between ironic and sarcastic language and identify which is which;
- explain the difference between ironic and sarcastic tone and identify which is which;
- respond appropriately to irony;
- compare the use of irony and sarcasm in the US and in your culture(s);
- reflect on your learning in a written/oral journal format.
