Needlesticks and sharps

As healthcare workers, it is our job to keep people safe, including ourselves! A major hazard is the risk of needlesticks (being stuck by a needle) and sharps injuries. The greatest concern is the risk of contracting infectious diseases like hepatitis or HIV.
