  • Speaking Assignment (exam portion)
The speaking assignment is aligned with the Smrt (adult core program) exams. There are 3 assignments (unit 1-4, units 5-8 and units 9-12). They focus on vocabulary, grammar and theme of the units covered. Teachers assign the speaking assignment from the ME page and Manage button and the Speaking tab. Once it is assigned it appears automatically on the student’s ME page.
The assignments are videos where the student uses their own computer or cellphone webcam to record and upload a video response that the teacher evaluates.
Many teachers give the oral exam face to face then ask students to make the video for additional assessment material.

Evaluations can automatically be sent to admin and student profiles at the bottom of the page.
