The simple past in English has two different types of verbs: regular and irregular. There is only one form for all subjects in the simple past, except for “To Be”.
الماضي البسيط في اللغة الإنجليزية لديه نوعين مختلفين من الأفعال: المنتظمة و الشاذة. هناك شكل واحد فقط لكل فاعل في الماضي البسيط، باستثناء "TO BE".

Simple Past: Positive

الماضي البسيط : إيجابي

  • walk → walked
  • call → called
  • wash → washed
  • clean → cleaned
  • study → studied

Irregular Verbs

  • go → went
  • wake up → woke up
  • drive → drove
  • drink → drank
  • read → read
