We will now expand on Module 1, by going more deeply into some of the foundational concepts and expanding into group experiences. We’ll look at the process of cultural conditioning (acquisition of culture); explore how culture is formed, maintained, and changed over time; emphasize the importance of context within every cultural interaction; and provide some insights into the role that power has in supporting and maintaining traditional norms.
