Rainforests are big, and tall. There are giant trees here. There are small plants here. There are big animals here. There are tiny animals here. There are special plants here.
A rainforest has four layers. The bottom part is the forest floor. There is no sun here. We can see some insects here. We can see some big animals here. We can see some plants here. Look at this giant flower. It lives on the forest floor. It is stinky!
The next part is the understory. The understory is green. There is a little sun here. We can see small trees and vines here. We can see leopards here. They can hide in trees.
We can see butterflies here. Look at these blue butterflies. They are pretty.
The next part is the canopy. The canopy is huge. There is some sun here. We can see many trees and leaves here. We can see monkeys here.
We can see tree frogs here. Look at these frogs. Are they cute? Are they pretty?
The top part is the emergent. The emergent is tall. There is a lot of sun here. We can see a few trees here. We can see macaws here. Macaws are pretty birds. Look at their wings. Some eagles live here, too. Are they pretty?
I want to visit a rainforest. I want to see the giant flowers. I want to see the blue butterflies. What do you want to see?
