Listening Speaking Grammar
2-1 Renting an aircraft hangar at an airport

Activity based on a person wanting to rent hangar space an airport for the first time from a prospective student interested in aviation. Listening activity contains several words from unit vocabulary.

2-2 Airport

A discussion between two partners in a Cessna 150. Exercise is meant to be used as a lead-in activity for Grammar 2-3 State & Dynamic Verbs.

2-3 My Dream Airport

Several people describe the features and location of their dream airport. Activity reinforces student comprehension of unit vocabulary.

Students are exposed to a large list of state verbs and how they are used differently compared to dynamic verbs. Grammar 2-2 also presents verbs that have both stative and dynamic usages.
