Cyberbullying is a serious concern in today’s schools. Since it can happen to a student at home as well as in school, it can spread quickly and be more traumatic for victims than traditional bullying.

Start an anti-cyberbullying campaign at your school. The purpose of the campaign is to inform others about cyberbullying. There are many ways to tell people about cyberbullying using posters, skit writing and online media tools. Below are ideas to start your campaign.

  • Poster: create a poster featuring anti-bullying messages and facts. Ask your teacher to hang your posters at school.
  • Bust a Rhyme: write a poem or rap about why people should not be bullies.
  • Survey Time: Create a survey about what your classmates know about cyberbullying
  • Role Play: write a cyberbullying situation and make a video
  • Presentation: Create a presentation and record it as a video or use an online tool to make a presentation.
  • Blog/Website: Create a blog/website about cyberbullying

You and your peers have an opportunity to make a difference in your school and community by spreading a positive message.
