Students learn how to express their age.

Nationalities.

Students learn country names and their respective nationalities.

2-1 Personal Pronouns

Personal Pronouns are practiced with verb TO BE in the Present Simple. Students will be able to express personal information about themselves and others.

2-2 Possessive adjectives

Students practice possessive adjectives with singular and plural nouns. Students also practice a combination of both personal pronouns and possessive adjectives together.

2-1 People

A reading activity intended to reinforce the student’s understanding of basic personal information, personal pronouns and possessive adjectives. Students answer questions about individuals pertaining to a text.

2-1 Write about yourself

A writing activity designed to allow students the opportunity to write about themselves in regards to nationality, age and other personal information.

2-1 People

A listening activity in which students listen to basic conversations about people meeting each other in different social situations. Students once again see present simple question forms using the verb TO BE.

2-1 Practice the conversations

This speaking activity does not require the student to produce language, but to simply practice written dialogues containing everyday English conversations. Students can focus on pronunciation and the sounds of English.
